A little family getaway | Reunion Resort - Orlando, FL
This summer my hubby and I took our daughter to Disney as a sort of tradition we want to do to celebrate his birthday and do an early birthday celebration for our daughter. While up there, I also had the opportunity of capturing a beautiful engagement session for Christine + Brandon. But what we didn't expect was to have so much fun at Reunion Resort, the hotel where we stayed and, of course, I had to document our stay a la Day In The Life style - or more like Weekend in the life!
The rooms were amazing and so crazy spacious - not to mention the beautiful attention to detail throughout the room and hotel! The beds are so plush and comfy and there was even a full kitchen for cooking your own meals if you so wished (I had no ideas, otherwise we totally would have.) Our daughter loved taking bubble baths in the giant soaker tubs and watching movies while we ate room service (their sushi bar is A-MAZE-ING!) And yes my kid love sushi, weird right?!)
But the best part of all was how much fun we had at their "splash pad" which is not really a splash pad and more like a mini water park! I mean, this thing is serious business and serious fun!
But hands down, my favorite part of the entire trip was spending a couple of hours with my daughter doing our nails: it was our FIRST mommy-and-me nails ever and so sweet and fun! She was so into being pampered and loved it so much and the staff had so much fun with her too!!!
I have to admit I wasn't expecting to enjoy our stay as much as we did, after all when you go to Disney, most people primarily expect all the fun and magic to happen within the park gates. But this just wasn't the case for us and I can say with certainty, I want to go back!

PS the theme song for the whole trip was Can't Stop The Feeling by Justin Timberlake. I highly recommend listening to it while you scroll through the images.
